Odoo Project Management Leader

Position Summary

The Project Management Leader is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Odoo ERP projects, from presales through implementation and support. This individual will also lead the company’s sales, marketing, and business development functions, ensuring alignment between project execution and growth objectives. As a core member of the executive team, this position plays a strategic role and reports directly to the President.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership (Odoo ERP Implementation)

   •   Lead planning, execution, and delivery of Odoo ERP implementation projects across construction, retail, professional services, manufacturing, and other sectors.

   •   Manage project scope, timelines, resource allocation, budgets, risk mitigation, and client communication.

   •   Supervise cross-functional teams including consultants, developers, and implementation specialists.

   •   Monitor and ensure quality of deliverables and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

   •   Maintain and continuously improve project delivery frameworks and methodologies tailored to Odoo ERP.


2. Business Development & Client Engagement

   •   Identify and cultivate new business opportunities for ERP and advisory services.

   •   Develop proposals, pricing strategies, and presentations for prospective clients.

   •   Build strong client relationships and maintain a deep understanding of client industries and pain points.

   •   Represent Bage.ca at networking events, conferences, and webinars to promote ERP solutions.


3. Sales & Marketing Oversight

   •   Collaborate with marketing to generate qualified leads and build brand awareness.

   •   Oversee and contribute to marketing content including case studies, email campaigns, landing pages, and social media strategies focused on Odoo and related services.

   •   Guide sales pipeline development, CRM usage, and reporting.

   •   Support the sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution.


4. Operational Oversight

   •   Supervise day-to-day delivery of Odoo-related services and internal operational workflows.

   •   Coordinate with finance, HR, and technical teams to ensure smooth execution and internal alignment.

   •   Track KPIs and project profitability, providing regular updates to the President.

   •   Champion continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery and team performance.


Qualifications


Education & Certifications

   •   Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

   •   PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is strongly preferred.

   •   Odoo certification or ERP implementation training is an asset.


Experience

   •   Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally in ERP, software implementation, or IT consulting.

   •   Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent client projects.

   •   Strong background in sales, marketing, and business development, preferably within the tech or professional services space.

   •   Demonstrated success in leading complex client engagements from pre-sales through implementation and post-go-live support.

   •   Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets, profitability, and reporting.

   •   Proficient in project management software, CRM platforms (e.g., Odoo, HubSpot), and productivity tools.
